Call 999. For a non-emergency police response, call 101. Take any immediate action needed to protect the person.

Raise the concern with the senior person on duty straight away. You can also contact ICCare management on 07949 169627 or aali@iccare.co.uk. Do not send detailed sensitive information in an initial email; ask for a secure route.
Independent routes
- For a child at risk, contact the Sheffield Safeguarding Hub on 0114 273 4855, available 24 hours.
- For an adult with care and support needs at risk, use Sheffield’s adult safeguarding route or call 0114 273 4908.
- Concerns about registered childcare can also be raised with Ofsted.
What happens next?
We record concerns, protect evidence, share information on a need-to-know basis and follow the relevant safeguarding and notification pathway. We do not promise confidentiality where somebody may be at risk, but we handle information carefully and proportionately.
